Driving While Intoxicated – Dismissed
Client was pulled over after leaving downtown Austin on a Friday night and arrested for DWI. Police officers forced client to submit to a breath test, and the results of client’s breath test showed a .12 blood alcohol content (BAC). Case was dismissed during pre-trial due to disputed consent to breath specimen and disputed breath test results.
Possession of Marijuana – Dismissed
Client was found with marijuana on his person while in a public park in Austin, Texas. Case was dismissed as the result of an illegal search and seizure.
Arson – Dismissed
Client was accused of setting her ex-boyfriend’s car on fire. Case later dismissed due to discrepancies in the fire marshal’s report and lack of evidence against client.
Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of Controlled Substance – Dismissed (both charges)
Client was arrested in central Austin for DWI and accused of possessing various prescription pain medications not prescribed to client. Case was dismissed in pre-trial negotiations as a result of counter evidence presented by attorneys.
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Dismissed
Client was accused of pulling a gun on his ex-girlfriend. Case was dismissed because of evidence controverting the allegations contained in the police report.
Assault Causing Bodily Injury – Dismissed
Client was involved in a physical altercation while leaving a downtown Austin bar. Following attorney investigation into the facts and circumstances surrounding the allegations, case was dismissed due to lack of evidence.
Resisting Arrest or Transport – Dismissed
Client was arrested in downtown Austin for Public Intoxication. Officers also charged client with Resisting Transport, alleging that he failed to comply with officers’ attempt to escort him to jail. Both charges were dismissed pre-trial.
